Planning The Perfect Employee Event

Planning the perfect employee event creates an opportunity to live your brand values and align the company culture. With the right concept and the right team, an event can look great at any budget. At CreativeMC, we had the perfect project to create for our employees what we do for clients every day: brand and style an unforgettable event for a big surprise announcement.
Our CEO hosted an all-company meeting followed by a party to reveal that the employees now fully own the company through an Employee Share Option Program (#ESOP)! The key branding challenge was to come up with an event name that could be used annually to announce the year’s business results to the employee owners. The name of the new annual party, The Wrap, not only fit the wrap-up concept but also was a nod to the film roots of our Czech/Slovak sister company Bontonfilm. We also decided that the look and feel should change each year in order to create anticipation for the event and to showcase our brand’s expertise in the latest product and design trends.
Partnering on the project, Marketing Coordinator Shannon Aguiar and Office Assistant Averi Gerberding worked to build the perfect venue ambiance at the stunning rooftop of Newhall Nest in San Francisco, California. As a quality promotional products supplier, chic branded swag and stunning decorations were essential ingredients. With a custom logo made by the design team and a Beverly Hills Hotel-inspired theme, the team sourced the key branded decor: barware, napkins, a backdrop, and a custom neon sign. Our in-house designer also created custom PowerPoint templates for the speakers, agendas, and activity signs for the event.
In line with the theme and color palette, we decided to gift employees with customized pastel Instax Mini Cameras and packaged them in branded bags and striped tissue paper. The custom merch selection added to the event experience, as attendees were able to snap the afternoon away and take home their own event memories. In addition to cameras, we also produced custom frames to be used with the polaroid pictures. A perfect client gift idea, on their way out of the venue, attendees took home their own Drinque Glasses adorned with THE WRAP after enjoying cocktails made by Salt & Honey Creations. Overall, it was a gorgeous sunny day for an unforgettable rooftop celebration for our team!
